About Us
BCOP strives to have a healthy relationship with other stakeholders like the University of Pretoria, and University of South Africa, DPWI (Dept. Of Public Works and Infrastructure) TUT, Gauteng Community Education as well as any other organization willing and able to become a stakeholder. The success of the BCOP programme also lies on a holistic approach to the process of learning. Strategic partnerships such as psychologists, social workers with the focus
on addressing psycho-social issues are also welcome.
BCOP programmes of interventions starts in High Schools, focus being on boy-child to address the scourge of Gender Based Violence and Drug Abuse, bullying, Teenage Pregnancy, this is made possible in collaboration with LLK (A community-based organization based in Tshwane), South African Air Force and South African Police Services have in the past also participated in hosting events for the boys.

Focus
Our main focus area is, however, out-of-school youth, categorized at NEETs (Not in Education, Employment or Training) individuals. BCOP is positioned as a conduit, ensuring a seamless and safe transition from Basic to Higher Education, through its network of partners in the Skills Development space. We link need to opportunity, with professional assistance from Unisa Asset Mapping BCOP.
